Hi Nelleke, We enjoyed absolutely everything about our stay at La Chaparra. From the ripening figs and almonds, to the huge herd of goats, the lizards and the beautiful peaceful surroundings – it was a wonderful experience. The accommodation was lovely and quiet, and you can simply walk out of the house and go for a beautiful hike in almost any direction. There is also so much to discover nearby – lakes for swimming and wonderful cities such as Málaga, Granada and Córdoba are all within reach. Another wonderful experience we highly recommend is horse riding through the almond orchards, only about 20 minutes from La Chaparra. It was one of the highlights of the whole holiday for our children. We travelled with our three young children and La Chaparra was perfect for them too. Even the small pool was a lifesaver on the hottest days and the children really enjoyed it. We will definitely recommend La Chaparra to everyone. It is a very special place and we are taking home many beautiful mem.
